Caps Not Hats
Bringing about change in professional sport isn't easy. You need a sweet graphic, and lots of email addresses. I teamed up with renowned cycling author Bill Strickland to praise cycling's podium champions who wear the cycling cap, and to cajole those who wear the -ahem- baseball hat instead. Read his take on it here, and a little bit from the UK's Independent here. We know: it's very important. It's also been successful.
Deployed as a social media campaign during the 2013 Tour de France, there was a remarkable increase in sport-appropriate headwear seen atop the 100th TdF's podium, and the momentum continues to build.
